This page describes how PolyshOS actually works today. It is product copy, not lawyer-signed terms of service.
Each studio can publish its own booking and cancellation policies at /s/{slug}/legal. Studio policies are between the salon and its clients. This page covers the PolyshOS product at PolyshOS.
The product
PolyshOS is software for independent nail studios: staff calendar, public booking, desk checkout, and related operations. We host the application. The studio is responsible for the services it sells and the staff it employs or contracts.
Accounts
Staff accounts use an email and password, and may add an authenticator app. Studio owners control who is invited. Do not share login credentials. We may suspend a studio that is past due on the PolyshOS subscription.
Payments
Card charges for salon services go through Stripe. PolyshOS does not store card numbers. Platform subscription billing, when enabled, is also Stripe. Refunds and disputes follow Stripe and the studio’s posted policy.
Acceptable use
Do not use PolyshOS to store clinical/HIPAA records, to process cards outside Stripe, or to scrape another salon platform. Public booking must not be used to harass a studio.
